
On May 23, 2025, Valentina Bollati will speak at the Festival of Economics in Trento, as part of the panel entitled “The New Frontiers of Longevity.” The meeting will take place at the Sala Nones of Palazzo Benvenuti and will bring together prominent figures from the international scene, including Paolo Di Giorgio (CEO of Angelini Ventures), Nicola Palmarini (Director of the UK National Innovation Centre for Ageing), Vittorio Sebastiano (Stanford University), and Mario Abbadessa (Hines Italy), with Francesca Cerati (Il Sole 24 Ore) moderating.
The panel will address the major changes associated with the aging population, focusing on the role of regenerative medicine, innovation in care models, and the scientific potential of epigenetics. Valentina Bollati, an expert in environmental epigenetics, will bring her expertise in the biomedical field, with particular attention to the effects of the environment on health and healthy aging.
The Festival of Economics in Trento, now in its 20th edition, is taking place from May 22 to 25, 2025 and this year’s theme is “Risks and Fatal Choices. Europe at the Crossroads.” Organized by Il Sole 24 Ore in collaboration with Trentino Marketing, the Autonomous Province of Trento, and the University of Trento, the festival is a benchmark in the public debate on economics, society, and innovation.
